FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Golf

How many courses are available?

We have 36-holes of championship golf on The Brute and The Highlands.

The magnificent Brute, at over 7,000 yards, is one of the most challenging layouts in the Midwest and is considered one of Wisconsin's best golf courses. Enhanced with 68 bunkers and huge rolling greens, averaging over 8,000 square feet, this par-72 golf course is perfectly manicured and immaculately maintained.

The Highlands is a Scottish-inspired, links-style course, complete with a beautiful landscape of scenic hills, trickling creeks and lush foliage. It was originally designed by Pete Dye and Jack Nicklaus, and transformed in 1996 by Bob Cupp. The Brute and The Highlands both offer four sets of tees to play from, making our experience more enjoyable for golfers of all skill levels.

How do I book a tee time?

Prices for The Brute and The Highlands will vary based on the demand for certain tee times. Instead of paying one rate all season long, dynamic pricing offers a variety of pricing options, whether your priority is price or time. You will always find the best available rate online for members, resort guests and public play, and you can customize your search by time or price. Book Tee Times

What does the tee time price include?

All rates include cart fee, complete use of practice facility with range balls, club storage, GPS yardage system and locker room facilities.

May we have five in a group?

We are unable to accommodate groups of five. There are only two golf carts available for each tee time. We would divide you into a group of three and a group of two, and you would be allocated two separate tee times. It is our aim to fill every tee time, so other golfers may be assigned to your group.

Can I use the driving range?

If you are a Club Member, a Golf Academy member or have a tee time that day, the use of all practice areas is complimentary. Hotel and resort guests can utilize any of the practice areas all day, but only after checking in at the Golf Shop and paying a practice fee. Public use of the putting green, the short game area and the range itself is limited to after 5pm only and also requires check in and a practice fee to be paid in the Golf Shop.

Are children able to golf?

Kids 17 and under can golf free with a paying adult Monday-Thursday or $59 if no adult is playing and $59 with a paying adult Friday-Sunday. Juniors must have a driver’s license in order to drive a cart.

Is walking permitted on the course?

Everyone golfing at Grand Geneva must use a golf cart. This keeps the pace of play flowing. A unique feature of our carts is the GPS system that provides yardage and course information on your cart. The cost of the golf cart is included in the greens fee.

What is the tee time cancelation policy?

48 hours prior to the date and time of the tee time. You will be charged the full amount of your booking for failure to cancel within the time allotted.

What happens if the tee time I want is unavailable? Can I join a waitlist?

Yes, you can join our waitlist, and we will notify you if your preferred tee time opens up.

Is there a golf course dress code?

Proper golf attire is required with no denim, please. Shorts must be hemmed. Collared shirts are required. Please note that tank tops and cutoffs are not permitted. Thank you!
